How to get started - a quick review.
Ordering the courses.
  1. Browse through the courses by category until you find the product you want, or search for products by keyword.
  2. Add courses to your shopping cart with a quantity of ‘1’. That means only one person will be able to take the course.  Click ‘Checkout’ when you’re ready to order your courses.
  3. To place an order you’ll be asked to create an account. Your email address should be your login, and you’ll add your own password. Register as a ‘single’ user.
  4. Enter your method of payment.
  5. Review and place your order. Confirmation will be emailed to you.
  6. If you are using anti-Spam software to stop unwanted emails, be sure to watch for messages from this eCampus solution and allow them through.
Taking the courses.
  1. You can access your courses immediately upon acceptance of your order. You’ll be given a link in the confirmation message, and in the email.
  2. To access your courses at a later time, return to the web address provided in your confirmation email and log in with the email and password you used during registration.
  3. When accessing your courses for the first time, there is a ‘help’ guide to explain how things work.
  4. As soon as you begin a course you’ll have 30 days to complete it.
  5. Each course has a final exam which you will be able to take up to three times – the system will retain your highest score.
  6. Upon completion of the course you’ll be able to print your training certificate.

Internet Access and System Requirements

Browser:
This site has been optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. It has been tested for Firefox and should perform properly though problems can appear from time to time.Trying using Internet Explorer if you have difficulty with Firefox.

Flash
: Flash is required for viewing eCampus courses – Flash 8.0 or higher is recommended. If you do not have Flash or wish to update your version you may do so here - click this link and follow any additional instructions.

Adobe Acrobat: Acrobat is sometimes utilized for documents and is recommended. Click here to download the reader software if you do not have it.

Windows Media Player: WMP may be used in some courses and is recommended. Click here to download the player if you do not have it.


Internet Access:
Cable, DSL or better is recommended.

Selecting your Courses
You’ll find the courses organized by DIVISION, CATEGORY and SUBCATEGORY. You may either ‘browse’ the categories, or use the ‘search’ box and enter a keyword. On each product page you’ll receive a description of each course. We recommend you take the Course Tutorial prior to ordering to understand fully how eCampus courses work and to experience the quality of the products. Once you have found the course or courses you wish to take, click the icon to ‘add to cart’ and you’re on your way.

Ordering your Courses
Once you have added the courses to your shopping cart it’s time to check-out. First, quantity is always set at ‘1’ per course, meaning you’re ordering a single access to the course. (Small business groups will set the quantity to reflect the number of employees per course.)

As you continue, you will create an account by providing your contact information. Any information you provide will be for the exclusive use of this service. Your information will not be made available to other organizations, in any way. See the Security & Privacy policy.

Access to courses for individuals is prepaid by credit card.

Accessing your Courses

As soon as you have placed your order, two things will happen:

1. You’ll see an ‘Order Confirmation’ page that will include all order information. Print that screen for your records.

2. You will also receive the same information via email, sent to the email address you provide. Be sure your anti-Spam email manager is not blocking emails from this site!

Contained within both the order confirmation and the email will be instructions for accessing your courses. You will access your courses by using the login and password you created during registration.

Taking your Courses
Each course is made available to you for a specific time frame. You will have 90 days from the date of purchase to begin each course, and from the date you begin each course, another 30 days to complete each course.

1. If you do not begin taking each course within 90 days access to that course will expire. You have started a course when you have clicked to open the first module of instruction.

2. Once you have started a course you will have 30 days from that date forward to complete the course and final exam. This 30-day clock is applied to each course separately from the date they are first accessed. You will have access to the course for the full 30 days even if you have completed the course.

Please note: If you wish to sign up for multiple courses at once, be sure you intend to begin them all within 90 days from date of purchase.

Upon completing the course and final test, you will continue to have access to the course material for the balance of the 30 days per course. The average course takes about an hour to complete, based on course content, user behavior and connection speed.

Final Test and Completion Certificate
Only after you have completed the entire course will you be given access to the final exam. You may take the final exam up to three times if you so choose, and the system will retain the highest score as your grade.

Upon finishing the test you will be shown your grade. You will then be able to print the ‘Completion Certificate’. The Completion Certificate is just that – a statement that you completed the course. It includes the final grade, but makes no assertion as to a student's mastery of the content. The completion certificate is not intended as a certification of your skill or knowledge level.

Your Account
As an added benefit, we will keep track of the courses you order via your account. When visiting Coastal eCampus, you’ll be able to access your personal profile and review your account.
