Upon successful course completion, the student will receive a Department of Labor OSHA General Industry [should this be Labor OSHA Construction? please confirm] 10-hour course completion card. This course has been reviewed and approved by the OSHA Training Institute and Coastal is authorized to issue completion cards. Additional information on the content of the programs is available here. This course will take a minimum of 10 hours of contact time.
Each student has a full six months of access time to complete the entire course.
The course will automatically log off if inactive for 20 minutes. Automatic bookmarking ensures you can return to the point at which you left the course.
This course is divided into ten topics each of which requires successful completion of a test before advancing to the next topic. A score of 70% must be achieved on each topic test. Each test may be taken a maximum of three times - the system will retain the highest score achieved.
A review of the topic test and final test questions answered incorrectly will be emailed to you.
A comprehensive final exam will take questions from each of the ten topics and a score of 70% is required to earn the OSHA card. The final test can be taken a maximum of three times.
A certificate of completion can be printed after the successful completion of the final exam.
The actual OSHA certification cards will be mailed in 10-12 weeks, providing the minimum score requirements are met.
